ROVERS MOURN LEGEND HORSLEY

TRIBUTES have been paid to Trevor Horsley, who was instrumental in the growth of Forest Green Rovers.
The former Rovers chairman passed away last Monday aged 63 following a long illness.
Horsley was introduced to the club, then on its knees and known as Stroud FC, in 1990 by director Colin Peake.
He changed their name back to Forest Green Rovers ahead of the 1992-93 campaign and oversaw their rise to Non-League’s top table and an FA Trophy final.
Horsley was also the driving force behind their move to The New Lawn stadium in 2006.
