The Football League Paper says… Closing the window does have positives

THE transfer window tends to be something people have mixed views about. Those with longer memories will remember the pre-window days when clubs were at liberty to make signings whenever they wanted.
Critics would no doubt argue that the current August and January windows are a restraint of trade for players and there may well be a legal challenge in the future.
