DELIGHTED Barnsley manager Paul Heckingbottom said there was ‘never any doubt’ after he signed a new and improved contract with the club.
The 40-year-old took the reins at Oakwell two years ago after Lee Johnson’s departure for Bristol City and guided the Tykes to promotion to the Championship and Johnstone’s Paint Trophy success in his first few months in the job.
