EAGER FANS IN CALL TO REFORM GAME…

FOOTBALL fans have launched a campaign for regulatory reform in this country – to stop owners destroying the clubs in their community.
The ‘Fans Not Numbers’ campaign was launched by Supporters’ Direct and sportswear company SKINS at Blackpool last Tuesday, the first of five meetings across the country.
One of the major concerns is that some owners appear to see fans as a mere revenue stream and have little understanding of the game or respect for its traditions.
