NEWCASTLE United and Brighton took a giant stride towards the Premier League yesterday.
Goals from Dwight Gayle and Matt Ritchie helped the Magpies beat relegationthreatened Wigan 2-1, while Glenn Murray netted the onlygoal as Brighton edged out Tony Mowbray’s Blackburn.
