The EFL have signed a new three-year deal with Carabao which will see the Thai energy drink manufacturer become the longest-lived title sponsor in League Cup history.
Carabao started sponsoring the EFL Cup in 2017 and signed a two-year extension in 2021 worth £6m per season.
Due to expire at the end of the 2026-27 season, the current deal will take Carabao’s sponsorship to ten years, one more than Carling who sponsored the competition from 2003 until 2012.
