MORECAMBE fans have warned they may be forced to take the “nuclear option” of refusing to attend matches if owner Jason Whittingham does not sell up.
It is over two years since Whittingham’s Bond Group announced that the Shrimps were up for sale.
In that time the Lancashire outfit have suffered severe financial issues, points deductions and relegation from League One.
Derek Adams’ side began the weekend bottom of the entire EFL and yesterday’s home fixture against Port Vale saw protests before and during the game.
