Grimsby Town 3-2 Weston-super-Mare: Sub Kieran Green ensures Mariners’ progress

Grimsby Town had to dig deep to see off National League South high-fliers Weston-super-Mare, with a couple of Mariners subs securing victory in the third round of the FA Cup at Blundell Park.

Grimsby Town had to dig deep to see off National League South high-fliers Weston-super-Mare, with a couple of Mariners subs securing victory in the third round of the FA Cup at Blundell Park.
Charles Vernam fired Town ahead just before the break, but Luke Coulson restored parity just after the break.
Grimsby sub Jaze Kabia then fired the hosts back in front after 70 minutes, only for the minnows to hit back seven minutes through Louis Britton.
