MARTIN Paterson admitted to being “gutted” after missing out on automatic promotion, but called on his Notts County players to use that disappointment as fuel for the play-offs.
Nick Tsaroulla’s 27th-minute goal gave County the lead in a match they had to win to have any chance of snatching a top-three finish, but Ellis Harrison’s 55th-minute equaliser earned Rovers a draw.
