VETERAN striker Billy Sharp is hoping to play for one more season after it was announced that he will leave Doncaster Rovers this summer.
The 40-year-old has scored 295 goals in 812 career appearances for the likes of Scunthorpe, Southampton, Sheffield United and Donny, and is the leading EFL goalscorer of the 21st century.
He rejoined Rovers in the summer of 2024 after a spell at LA Galaxy and helped Grant Mc-Cann’s side win promotion from League Two last term.
