PAUL Warne is hoping new signing Jay Matete can add the “bite” that is missing from the MK Dons midfield.
Matete, 25, has joined the League Two Dons for an undisclosed fee from Premier League side Sunderland.
Signed from Fleetwood in 2022, he made 25 appearances for the Black Cats and was part of the side promoted from League One under Alex Neil, but he has also spent time out on loan with Plymouth, Oxford and Bolton.
