ELLIOT Embleton is hoping a move to Carlisle can kick-start his career after 18 months of injury hell and a disastrous move to Blackpool.
A boyhood Sunderland fan, the 25-year-old midfielder made his debut for the Black Cats aged 18 and scored 11 goals in 92 games for the Wearsiders - including the opener in a 2-0 victory over Wycombe in the 2022 League One play-off final.
