MORECAMBE skipper Farrend Rawson has hit out at owner Jason Whittingham after a threepoint deduction torpedoed the Shrimps’ League Two play-off hopes. At a disciplinary hearing due to late wage payments in August, the EFL ordered Whittingham to deposit an amount equal to 125 per cent of the club’s monthly wage bill to cover any future delays. In a statement, the EFL said that Whittingham had failed to keep the account at the required levels and that a suspended three-point penalty would now be activated.
