ROBINS OWNER PAYS FOR SHARES BREACH

SWINDON owner Clem Morfuni has been fined £10,000 for failing to disclose a transfer of shares in the club. Hollie Kiely, of Swinton Reds 20 Ltd, was transferred a 17.1 per cent voting right shareholding in the club in September 2022, but this was not disclosed until its publication at Companies House 11 months later. Under EFL regulations, clubs are required to inform the league of details of any ‘significant interest’ shareholder.
