NICKY Butt insists the Class of ‘92 remain committed to Salford City – despite the announcement that the club is seeking fresh investment.
Salford are co-owned by ex-Manchester United stars Butt, Ryan Giggs, Gary Neville, Phil Neville, David Beckham and Paul Scholes, with each owning a ten per cent stake in the club. The other 40 per cent is held by Singaporean billionaire Peter Lim.
Following their takeover in 2014, Salford won four promotions to reach League Two and also lifted the EFL Trophy in 2020 after beating Portsmouth on penalties at Wembley. ...
