Hiwula seeks to fire up Shrimps

Eager forward Jordy Hiwula is aiming to do ‘something special’ with new club Morecambe.
The 29-year-old has signed for the Shrimps until the end of the season and will boost boss Ged Brannan’s attacking options. In his time with Manchester City and Huddersfield, Hiwula had a number of loan spells. He then served Coventry, Portsmouth, Doncaster and Ross County.
He arrives as a free agent having left the Scottish Premiership side in September.
He has trained with Morecambe for the last couple of weeks and will now seek to help their play-off push in League Two.
