Salford City are hoping for a bumper crowd when they host Gillingham next Saturday – with tickets costing £1.40!
To kick-off the celebrations that mark 100 years since Salford was granted City status, match admission will be at the bargain price for home and away supporters.
It’s the equivalent of what the average cost of a ticket at the Peninsula Stadium in 2026 would have been back in 1926.
Salford celebrates its 100th birthday as a City on Tuesday, April 21, and the game against the Gills is the Ammies’ last home fixture before the date.
