Nigel Adkins hailed “immense” Connor Jennings after the striker penned a new deal at Prenton Park.
A legendary figure in his first spell at the club, Jennings scored 37 goals in 171 games and won two promotions before leaving for Stockport in 2020.
The 32-year-old rejoined Tranmere on a short-term deal in June, but has now signed an extension running until 2025 after a string of impressive displays for the League Two strugglers.
