Having notched up 60-odd appearances in a little over a year, it’s easy to understand why goalkeeper Owen Evans believes joining Walsall has proved one of the best decisions of his career.
The life of a keeper can be tough. With just that one starting berth and managers often putting experience before youth, it can be difficult to get minutes.
