Harrogate Town defender Anthony O’Connor admits he still has a “point to prove” to Blackburn Rovers as he plots to knock his old club out of the Carabao Cup for a second time in three seasons.
O’Connor left Ireland at the age of 16 to join Rovers and, despite being handed three professional contracts during seven years on the Ewood Park books, was never handed a senior outing.
