Kyle Hurst has insisted Doncaster Rovers can still fulfil their pre-season target of promotion by rediscovering some consistency over the festive period.
Following relegation last term, Rovers were among League Two’s early frontrunners after kicking off the campaign with four wins and two draws from their opening six contests.
But a subsequent run of two victories from eight matches saw Donny fall off the top-seven pace and cost Gary McSheffery his job as manager in mid-October.
