COWLING’S CHUFFED AT EFFORT FOR UKRAINE…

BIG NIGHT: Colchester took on leaders Forest Green

PROUD Colchester United chairman Robbie Cowling has thanked everyone who contributed to their ‘Game for Ukraine’.
The U’s chose their match against Forest Green Rovers, which the visitors won 1-0, to make a special effort to help those affected by the war in Ukraine.
The team were given permission by the EFL to wear a yellow and blue kit, the colour of the Ukraine flag, for the match.
All the ticket revenue was donated to the DEC Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal via the British Red Cross.
