MILLS EYES JANUARY COMEBACK

NORTHAMPTON captain Joseph Mills is stepping up his comeback from injury and hopes to be back early in 2022.
The 32-year-old left-back has been sidelined since fracturing an ankle at Crawley in August, but he is now training on grass again.
He said: “I have been joining in with some of the warm-ups at the start of training and some of the running.
“It is hard to put an exact timeframe on things. I will be pleased if I could be back some time in January. I know I have a lot of hard work to get through.”
