Askey: We must keep it clean or pay price

JOHN Askey admitted feeling massively frustrated after his Port Vale side failed to kill off Colchester, being forced to settle for a point.
The Valiants took a 58th-minute lead through Devante Rodney’s stunning strike but were pegged back by an equaliser seven minutes later from Luke Norris, who was praised for his aggression by away boss Steve Ball.
But Askey issued a warning that Vale’s concentration lapses could derail any hopes they have of making the play-offs this season.
