’Dodgy’ spot-kick cost us – McGreal

COLCHESTER United boss John McGreal was disappointed to see his side pegged back by a “dodgy” penalty as they returned home from Cheltenham Town with a point.
Conor Thomas converted from the spot 20 minutes from the end after Luke Norris had given the U’s a first-half lead.
The penalty was awarded for a foul by goalkeeper Dean Gerken on Reuben Reid.
“The penalty was dodgy to say the least,” McGreal said.
