Bentley in rage over ‘blatant handball’

JIM BENTLEY was furious with referee Dean Whitestone for denying his Moreccambe side an injurytime penalty and the chance to take three points.
Jamie Turley looked to have handled at the far post in the dying moments of the game but the referee waved away the home side’s penalty appeals, much to Bentley’s disgust. He said: “It was a clear penalty, there wasn’t even a doubt.
