Curle so proud as he exits Cumbrians

THERE was no fairytale ending for Carlisle manager Keith Curle as his side were held to a 1-1 draw against Newport.
Padraig Amond’s header cancelled out Mark Ellis’s opener to earn a point for the visitors at Brunton Park in Curle’s final game in charge.
Nevertheless, the 54-year-old insists his farewell match couldn’t have unfolded any better.
“If I could have written my own script for leaving a football club, this would have been it,” he said.
“It’s very pleasing, as a manager, to get the reception that I did today.
