IT was legends day at Coventry City yesterday, and this current team wrote their own page of history.
After years of decline that has left them playing in the fourth tier of English football for the first time since the black and white TV days of 1959, they have put some colour and hope back into the club. Coventry are in the semi-finals of the play-offs against Notts County – the first time they have ever been in these dramatic shootouts – with the prospect of adding respect to a club damaged so badly on and off the pitch.
