Returning Pell tolls for sorry Robins

THE result at the Broadfield Stadium was settled within the first 12 minutes by Harry Pell, whose return to the Cheltenham line-up after suspension was celebrated with two well-taken goals.
But for the rest of an eight-goal match the conversation of the Crawley fans and their persistent jeering was centred on referee Chris Sarginson and his assistant Steven Brown.
There was nothing but admiration for Pell’s opening goal in the seventh minute as he coolly hit a 25-yard curling and dipping shot past Glenn Morris.
