JOSS GETS BIG BOOST

LEAGUE TWO
NEWPORT County have pledged to look after skipper Joss Labadie after he damaged his anterior cruciate ligament in training.
The 27-year-old midfielder is unlikely to play again this year.
Yet Labadie is going to be offered a new contract, with boss Mike Flynn saying: “We’ll be speaking to him and his agent but obviously the club will do the right thing.
“We’ll never see a player – somebody we value so highly – walk away, or limp away in this circumstance.”
