BRISTOL City will fly the flag for the EFL in the quarter-finals after crushing Crystal Palace – but other Championship sides suffered heart-breaking exits.
The Robins were the only one of five second-tier sides to have home advantage last Tuesday, and they made it count against Roy Hodgson’s Eagles.
City had already accounted for Watford and Stoke and they made it a hat-trick of Premier League scalps by dismantling Palace, who made ten changes, at Ashton Gate.
