First match?
I was a massive Liverpool fan and I went to the 1983 Milk Cup final. Liverpool beat Man United 2-1 and Ronnie Whelan scored in extra-time. That was my first real recollection of a game – you couldn’t really get much better. I got to go to Wembley! My dad took me down and we did the tourist thing before the game. There are pictures of pigeons all over me in Trafalgar Square and then it was a fantastic game to go and watch.
