PHIL Parkinson heralded a “really good day” for Wrexham as they went level at the top of League One with a 1-0 win over Burton Albion.
The windy conditions certainly played their part, and his Wrexham side’s biggest threat, Elliot Lee, bagged a fortuitous winner when his curling corner kick caught on the wind and went straight in off the woodwork.
Strugglers Burton pushed the visitors all the way, and interim head coach Tom Hounsell felt his side were unlucky to be on the end of such a fortuitous moment.
