Shaun Maloney says Wigan Athletic are heading in the right direction after a narrow 2-1 defeat to Fulham in the FA Cup.
The Scotsman hopes the unity around the club can propel the club to success in the near future.
His comments came on the back of the Latics’ spirited display at home to top-flight Fulham as Rodrigo Muniz’s brace saw them knocked out.
Muniz scored a diving header to give the visitors a deserved lead and fired home a fine strike shortly after Wigan had levelled through Jonny Smith’s stunner.
