Winger Jack Lankester says Cambridge United will treat Curzon Ashton with the same respect they showed Newcastle United in the FA Cup last season – because they want to bag another big day out.
The U’s stunned the Toon Army with a famous 1-0 third round success at St James’ Park in January and are keen for another slice of Cup glory this time around.
They kick-off their campaign with a trip to National League North outfit Curzon Ashton this afternoon and are determined not to slip up on an FA Cup banana skin.
