Interim boss Julian Darby admits Bolton Wanderers have been under a cloud since losing last season’s League One play-off final as his side defeated Huddersfield Town 1-0.
Wanderers parted ways with long-serving gaffer Ian Evatt earlier this week after an indifferent run of form.
However, after a convincing and professional performance to overcome the promotion-chasing Terriers, Darby hopes to have delivered a ray of hope.
Aaron Collins’ 55-minute goal was the decider as the Wanderers remained in ninth place in the league table.
