EFL REVEAL SHORTLISTS FOR THEIR BIG AWARDS

TIPPED: Middlesbrough midfielder Hayden Hackney

MIDDLESBROUGH star Hayden Hackney is the hot favourite to be named Championship Player of the Year at next Sunday’s EFL Awards.
The 23-year-old midfielder, who has created more chances than any other player, was linked with Manchester United in January and was recently described by his manager Kim Hellberg as the best player in the division.
Hackney heads a four-man shortlist that also includes Swansea’s Zan Vipotnik, Millwall’s Femi Azeez and Coventry goalkeeper Carl Rushworth.
