COBBLERS SWOOP FOR JACK IN THE BOX

NORTHAMPTON have signed Jack Vale after the former Blackburn striker impressed on trial.
Vale, 24, came through the ranks at Ewood Park and scored twice in 22 appearances for the Championship club.
He also spent time on loan at Barrow, Rochdale, Halifax, Lincoln and Motherwell but has been without a club since his release at the end of last season.
“We are delighted to have Jack on board,” said Cobblers boss Kevin Nolan, who has now signed 16 new players over the summer.
