SHREWSBURY manager Paul Hurst has called for the entire League One calendar to be postponed during future international breaks.
The Premier League and Championship both take a two-week hiatus during international breaks, while League One and League Two play on.
However, any EFL team can request the postponement of a fixture if they have three or more players called up by their national team.
Shrewsbury had just two -Wales Under-21 defender Luca Hoole and Grenada captain Aaron Pierre - meaning they were forced to face Crawley with a weakened side.
