BLACKPOOL manager Steve Bruce says new signing Josh Onomah will need time to get up to speed after likening the 27-year-old’s lengthy absence from football to suffering a serious injury.
The former Tottenham midfielder played under Bruce during loan spells at Aston Villa and Sheffield Wednesday before making permanent moves to Fulham and then Preston.
But he has not played a competitive match since being released by the Lilywhites at the end of the 2022-23 season.
