Reece Cole has thanked Exeter City for helping him to love football again after signing a new deal at St James Park.
Released by Brentford in 2020, the 25-year-old had unhappy spells at QPR and Dunfermline before dropping into parttime football with first Chertsey and then Hayes & Yeading.
However, his performances for the Southern Premier South side last season attracted Exeter boss Gary Caldwell, who was briefly his manager at Partick Thistle, and after a successful trial he penned a short-term deal with the Grecians this summer.
