MOVING ON: Dapo Afolayan had good times at Bolton

Bolton's reigning player of the year Dapo Afolayan has joined German second-tier strugglers St Pauli for a fee of around £500,000. Afolayan, 25, initially joined the Trotters on loan from West Ham in February 2021 and played a pivotal role as the club won promotion from League Two.
Subsequently signed on a permanent transfer, he enjoyed the best season of his career, scoring 14 goals and picking up the fans’ player of the year award as Ian Evatt’s side notched a ninth-place finish in League One.
