First game you watched live?
Chelsea, but I can’t remember the game. I was in the under-13s team and they gave us free tickets. Kerry Dixon was up front. Joe McLaughlin was playing. It must have been some time in the late 80s.
It was a very different club then. Stamford Bridge was a state. There were weeds in the terraces, an old Robin Reliant parked behind one of the goals. Everything was concrete like something from Eastern Europe. I didn’t mind though -after that first game, I was hooked.
