JACKSON APPLAUDS ADDICKS

CHARLTON caretaker boss Johnnie Jackson is pleased with the way his side have progressed since Nigel Adkins’ exit.
The Addicks were 22nd in the table having won just two of their first 13 matches when Adkins was sacked, but have started to climb the division.
“Where we’ve come in a month, I think everybody should be pleased with that,”
Jackson said. “We’ve managed to climb the league.
“I can’t fault the lads. Where we’ve come so quickly, I’m really pleased.”
