GARETH Ainsworth believes Wycombe mean business after extending Anis Mehmeti’s contract.
The 20-year-old midfielder has signed a new two-and-a-halfyear contract with Wanderers.
Mehmeti, an Albania Under-21 international, has had spells at Fulham, Spurs and Norwich as a youth.
“Anis is a special player with massive potential,” said Chairboys manager Ainsworth.
“I know the fans will be excited by this news and it’s another statement of our intent to build.”
