SWINDON have swooped to sign Danny Rose from Portsmouth, with the midfielder revelling in the ‘passion’ of the club’s fans and poised to fire them back into League One.
Rose, 30, played a crucial role in Pompey’s League Two triumph in 2016/17 but, having suffered a broken leg just over a year ago, has been allowed to leave Fratton Park on a free.
The Manchester United trainee, Richie Wellens’ fourth signing of the January window, feels he can add a third League Two promotion to his impressive CV.
