STRIKER Jamie Mackie was praised for his performance by Oxford United’s management team after the U’s beat Plymouth Argyle at Kassam Stadium to climb above their rivals at the bottom of the table. Mackie scored the first goal in the fourth minute – his first of the season – and made the second, tucked away by centre-half Curtis Nelson in the 74th minute of the contest.
