Clough joy as defence overcomes injuries…

NIGEL Clough was as pleased with the clean sheet for his patched-up Burton Albion defence as he was with the three goals that sunk AFC Wimbledon to give the Brewers a second successive home league victory.
Only able to field one fit and experienced defender, Clough watched Stephen Quinn fire home a superb volley after 34 minutes to cap a period of dominance before second half strikes from David Templeton and Liam Boyce capped an excellent afternoon for the Brewers who have started slowly back in League One.
