SHREWSBURY captain Abu Ogogo will be free to play in next month’s Checkatrade Trophy final, despite receiving a fourgame suspension for his sending off at Northampton on Tuesday.
Ogogo’s red for violent conduct at Sixfields, after a bust-up with the Cobblers’ John-Joe O’Toole, who was also dismissed, was the 28-year-old midfielder’s second dismissal of the season.
It has ruled him out of league action until April 17, but the Trophy operates under its own suspension laws, meaning Ogogo is free to play in the final against Lincoln at Wembley on April 8...
