When Luton were relegated in May, nobody would have dared to suggest that a team who’d achieved so much should be broken up.
But hindsight is a wonderful thing, and it’s now clear that the players who’d reached Wembley, won a playoff final and fought so valiantly to remain in the Premier League had already scaled their mountain.
